Frequently asked questions for in person physical therapy & performance
-
No, I do not take insurance. I offer cash-based physical therapy and performance training in order to maintain the highest quality service. This allows me to spend more time with my clients without insurance dictating what we can and can’t do and how many sessions we are able to have together.
-
Insurance-based healthcare doesn’t care about your goals. I do! I left the insurance-based world so that I could treat my clients the way they deserve. You decide your goals and I am there every step of the way to get you there. No more rushed appointments and separation of rehab and training. Rehab is training and by working 1:1 we can tackle your barriers far better than we could in the constraints of an insurance-based clinic
-
Not at all! California is a direct access state which means you can see a physical therapist without getting a prescription from your doctor first.

I work with a wide range of clients—from athletes training for competition to individuals looking to move better, feel stronger, or recover from pain or injury. Whether you're chasing a PR or just want to enjoy life without discomfort, I’ll tailor everything to you.
-
I am a movement optimist, athlete, and coach who truly believes that movement is medicine. Rehabbing an injury should look a lot like training! The goal is to build the capacity of your body to handle the demands you place on it… to handle the demands of the activities you love. The more robust your body is, the more demand it can handle =]
Frequently asked questions for remote coaching

Yes—progress takes time, and meaningful change doesn't happen overnight. I require a 3- or 6-month commitment to ensure you have the time and support needed to truly make progress toward your goals. This commitment gives us the consistency and structure to create lasting results.
-
Nope—home gym vibes are absolutely welcome! I do ask that you have a few sets of dumbbells and resistance bands at a minimum. Depending on your goals, I might recommend additional equipment, but we can work with what you have!
-
That depends on you and your goals! During our consult, we’ll collaborate to create a plan that fits your schedule, lifestyle, and what you’re working toward. Whether it’s a few days a week or more, the goal is to build something sustainable and effective for you.
