“Randi has been my support for all phases of my athletic career. I started working with her when I wanted to PR my running races. She set me up with a plan that fit my schedule and current ability. She gave me information on how to properly fuel which was a game changer! I have never been able to make it through a marathon training block without stopping because of an injury until I started working with randi.
After doing a few races my wedding was coming up. I told Randi I wanted to focus on strength training. Once again she created a plan with me that fit everything I needed. The check ins were so helpful. She would discover whether I was doing the exercises correctly or not. This kept me injury free and able to gain the muscle I needed.

"Randi was so targeted in her exercise prescription, specific to my tendon's stage of healing and my specific goals for returning to walking, hiking, running, surfing"
I came in with a TFL tendon partial tear and avulsion fracture and some associated pretty unrelenting hip flexor pain after a traumatic injury to my hip and pelvis. I came to Randi about 2 months after the initial injury and feeling like I needed additional support. Randi totally came along side me every step of the way reassuring me, motivating me, and giving me extremely helpful and targeted exercises for my specific injury. As a PT myself, I knew the benefit of having a coach and support person alongside you in the rehab process rather than solely relying on "self treating" can be a game-changer when battling fear and getting to the next level of rehab and progress. Randi was so targeted in her exercise prescription, specific to my tendon's stage of healing and my specific goals for returning to walking, hiking, running, surfing, and even just crossing my legs or standing up to take my sock off again without pain. I remember after one exercise she gave me I started doing at home/gym, literally after 2 weeks of doing it religiously could stand to take my socks off without pain for the first time in over 2 months and I knew it was going to only get better from there. Now fast forward 17 weeks after my injury I've began to run again and feeling so much progress on a weekly basis, and the exercises she taught me are part of my regular training regimen they have been so helpful. I also just recently did my first front squat below parallel with weight which I was so stoked about. Healing takes time, it's taken me about 17 weeks to get here but Randi was so positive and motivating giving me so much hope through the process. I am super excited to continue progressing in my healing, and will begin training with her for my upcoming Marathon! I'm a bit nervous, but I know I have the best coach on my side. Randi literally took me from not being able to walk a step without pain, to now I just did a 5 mile run without pain. Thank you Randi!
